Austin & Krystal’s Classic Manhattan Wedding with a Modern Twist

There’s something about a Manhattan wedding that just hits different. Austin and Krystal wanted their day to feel meaningful, intimate, and full of that unmistakable New York energy, but without the chaos of a massive celebration! Before their bigger November wedding, they planned a smaller ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, where Austin’s cousin (who happens to be a priest!) officiated. It was sacred, and absolutely stunning, think golden arches, soft light, and the quiet hum of the city just outside. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, it was everything a Manhattan moment should be: timeless, emotional, and beautifully real!

The Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Inside St. Patrick’s, the atmosphere felt like pure magic. The soft organ music echoed through the cathedral as light poured through the stained glass. You could almost feel the weight of the history around them. Krystal’s gown was effortlessly classic, and Austin looked sharp in his tux, both perfectly fitting the grandeur of the space. Their ceremony was small but powerful, filled with heartfelt glances and quiet laughter. It wasn’t about putting on a show, it was about being present, grounded, and together!

Midtown Portraits for a Manhattan Wedding

Once the ceremony wrapped, we did what every Manhattan wedding dreams are made of, took it to the streets! We wandered around Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall, letting the city become part of their story. The mix of old New York architecture with their modern, stylish energy was everything. Between the yellow cabs, the glowing marquees, and the way they looked at each other, it was a scene straight out of a film, effortlessly chic, a little cinematic, and totally “them.”

An NYC Bar Reception That Felt Like Home

After portraits, it was time to trade the grandeur for good vibes. We headed to Phil Hughes, their favorite neighborhood bar, the one they’ve spent countless nights laughing and sharing drinks with friends. They rented out the whole place, had food and cocktails flowing, and even played darts. It was casual, warm, and exactly what they wanted, no pageantry, no pressure, just real moments with the people they love most. Later, Krystal slipped into a chic mini dress, and the two danced around the dartboard like it was their own private after-party!

From the Couple

“We are just obsessed with them all. We love how you’ve captured each part of the day. It feels super organic and fun and each picture brings us back to the moment it was taken.” — Krystal & Austin
